Frequently Asked Questions about Ayurvedic Massage
My offer is open to women and men. Full‑body massages (Abhyanga) are available exclusively for women — for personal and practice‑related reasons. Men are welcome to book partial treatments such as back or face massage.
I work with high‑quality Ayurvedic oils that are produced and tested in India according to traditional recipes. If you prefer not to use the classic Ayurvedic oils, you can choose pure base oils — with essential oils added upon request.
You can wear either a disposable slip, which I provide, or your own underwear during the massage. It’s best to come in comfortable clothing that can get a little oily, as a light residue may remain on the skin after the treatment.
No, a shower is not available. The oil is gently removed at the end of the treatment using warm compresses.
I do not work with health insurance providers, so all treatments are to be paid privately.
Ideally, avoid eating for about two hours before your massage. This allows your body to receive the treatment more easily and helps you feel more comfortable during the session.
